How to submit your private health insurance claims

A step-by-step guide to submitting your claims and how Feather supports you throughout.

You can submit your claims directly through the Hallesche4u app. Hallesche handles all claim processing, so your submission goes straight to the right place.

This only applies to your private health insurance claims — your other policies with us are not affected.


How Feather supports you

Getting set up on the Hallesche4u app

Download the app:

Register:

Open the app and tap Register. You will need:

  • Your insurance/contract number

  • Full name and date of birth

  • Email address and mobile number

To verify your identity, you have two options:

  • Online via the Nect Wallet app: instant

  • By mail: your access credentials will arrive at your registered home address within a few days.

Log in:

Once registered, log in using your EK ID and the activation code or password you received.

Submitting a claim

Once you're in the app:

  1. Go to the claims section

  2. Upload your invoice

  3. Add any relevant details and submit

Your claim will be processed from there. Most claims are processed within 4 weeks. Your bill statement will be sent to your home address by post, or digitally through the app if you've switched to online post.

Quick tip: Once you're set up in the app, switch to online post to receive your letters digitally and keep everything in one place. Correspondence from Hallesche is set to paper mail by default.
