No-claim-in-a-year bonus

If you don't submit bills to your insurance, you get 1 monthly premium back. You get more if you go several years without submitting bills. This amount is determined anew each year, depending on how much profit your insurance provider makes.

These conditions apply

  1. You don’t submit any claims for the whole calendar year.

  2. You're insured for all 12 calendar months.

  3. You’re still covered when the money is paid out (~ June the following year).

Make the most out of your coverage

  • Check your coverage overview to see if you can submit bills for routine check-ups without losing the cashback.

  • Before submitting your bills, wait until the end of the year to compare which is better: keeping your cashback or submitting your bills for reimbursement. You can submit bills up to 2 years after treatment if you change your mind.

Monthly cashback

You can see this as pocket money that is paid into your bank account at the end of each month. You’ll use it to cover any medical bills. Whatever you don’t spend throughout the year is yours to keep!

The pocket money is not to be confused with deductibles. This is an amount you pay out of pocket each year with no reimbursement.

Make the most out of your coverage

  • Check how much pocket money you get in the overview in your account.

  • You only get pocket money if you pay your insurance via direct debit. If you pay manually, it won’t apply.

Example

  • You're on the standard plan with €100 monthly pocket money (€1,200 per year).

  • You get a €2,000 medical bill in March.

  • The bill is partly covered by your yearly pocket money (€1,200). Your insurance pays the remaining €800. That year, any other bills are fully covered.
