Updating the email address on your account

Written by Jamie

You can update the email address on your account through your account settings at any time. The process requires verifying your current email with a 6-digit code, then confirming your new address through a verification email. If you have a SEPA Direct Debit set up, you'll also need to add your payment details again so the mandate is linked to your new email.

How can I update the email address on my account?

You can change the email address linked to your account at any time through your account settings. The full process is:

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Open the account section in the menu.

  3. Select account settings.

  4. Click on your current email address to start the change.

  5. Check your current email inbox for a 6-digit verification code, enter the code on the verification page, and continue.

  6. On the next page, type your new email address and request a verification email.

  7. Open the verification email sent to your new inbox and confirm the new email.

  8. On the page that opens, confirm one last time that you want to change your email to finalize the update.

What should I do if I can't access the email address linked to my account?

If you no longer have access to the email address linked to your account, you won't be able to complete the verification step on your own, since the security code is sent to your current email. You can contact our support team for more assistance or additional resources. You'll need to verify your identity before any changes can be made to your account.

How do I update my SEPA Direct Debit mandate after changing my email address?

Your SEPA Direct Debit mandate is tied to the email address on your account, so it needs to be refreshed after an email change to keep monthly premium payments working — even if your IBAN hasn't changed. To refresh the mandate, open the payment methods section of your account, add your SEPA Direct Debit details again as a new payment method using the same IBAN, and then delete the old payment method once the new one is active.
