In order to receive coverage for your bike lock and any other accessories to your bicycle, you must provide us invoices/receipts of these items before any claims are made. Though you are asked if you would like to provide this information when first purchasing the policy, you can give us the documents at a later date. When signing up and listing the maximum insured value, you should always factor in extra accessories you would like included even if you will send us the receipts later.
How to add documents after initial sign-up:
Step 1: Login to your Feather account
Head to the Feather homepage and go to "Log In" in the upper right hand corner—or just click the button below!
Step 2: Go to your bike insurance policy
Under 'My policies' find your bike insurance, and click the 'Details' button.
Step 3: Upload receipts
Under "Policy details" click the "Upload" link next to Purchase Receipts.
That's it! Now your additional parts are on file in case you ever need to file a claim.
