Would my pet be covered after the waiting period ends in these cases?

Unfortunately, once the waiting period concludes, there's no coverage for illnesses diagnosed or occurring during that time and their subsequent consequences. It's essential to note that certain pre-existing conditions, if known before obtaining the policy, prevent you from insuring your pet. If your pet is presently undergoing medical treatment or it's advised for a specific condition, regrettably, coverage is not available.

However, if none of the above scenarios apply, you can expect a standard waiting period of one month before coverage is possible. So, in other words, you can only insure pets in good health at the time of purchasing the insurance, and any conditions diagnosed during this waiting period will be permanently excluded from coverage.

General waiting period: 1 month for standard operations and treatments

Special waiting period: 6-18 months

Certain risks or services have no waiting period. This includes accidents for the Surgery and Standard plans.
