Policies can be canceled any time with refunds available if canceled before the policy start date or within a 14-day withdrawal period after purchase. Refunds typically take 3-7 business days to process.
What payment methods are available for expat health insurance?

Credit or debit cards from major providers like Visa and Mastercard.
PayPal for convenience without sharing card details.
International bank transfers using any IBAN supporting SEPA payments, including some accounts outside the EU.
Can I change my payment method after signing up?
Yes. You can update or switch your payment method at any time before the next billing date by accessing your Feather account and selecting a new default method. This helps avoid failed payments.
In what currency will my payments be charged?
All charges are processed in euros (EUR). If your payment method uses a different currency, your bank may apply foreign exchange fees or conversion rates determined by the bank.
When will I be charged after signing up?
Your first payment is taken on the day you sign up. It covers either the full or partial days of your first month of coverage.
For example, if your policy starts on 15 July, your first payment covers 15β31 July. If your policy starts on the 1st of the month, you're charged the full monthly amount.

Can I choose the day of the month when my payments are collected?
No. Recurring payments are fixed to the first of the month and cannot be adjusted.

Can I retry a failed payment manually?

This is useful if you have resolved the issue, such as:

What refund options are available if I cancel?

If you cancel after 14 days from purchase, no refund is provided, but the policy remains active until the end of the paid month.
