Income requirements for private health insurance
To qualify for comprehensive private health insurance, you must meet the required income threshold.
When you submit your application, you'll need to provide documents that confirm your eligibility.
Here’s what you need:
1. Work contracts or letters of intent
These documents must include:
Start date: The date when your collaboration begins.
Duration: How long the agreement will last.
Salary details: Hourly/daily rates and expected working hours, showing your income meets the threshold for the next 12 months.
Signatures: Both you and your client must sign the agreement.
If you work with multiple clients, you can submit several contracts to demonstrate your eligibility.
2. Bank statements
Personal bank statements for the last three months. This is required to verify a consistent income flow that aligns with your contract details.
Proof of savings will not be accepted regardless of the amount. Evidence of a constant income flow is required.
3. Optional supporting documents
We understand that proving income proof can be challenging depending on your profession.
In these cases you can provide supplementary information to strengthen your application in addition to the required documents, such as:
Invoices
Paychecks
Business plans
Recent tax assessments
BWA statements
