Dental insurance premiums are influenced by the type of coverage selected and the age of the insured person. While premiums for the Basic plan remain stable from a certain age onward, the price of the Advanced plan—which includes tooth replacement coverage—increases over time to reflect the rising cost of treatment.
How do dental insurance premiums change as I grow older?
Dental insurance premium prices depend on your plan type and age. Our Basic plan maintains a stable premium from age 21 onward, while premiums for our Advanced plans increase every ten years due to the higher costs of tooth replacement procedures.
What is the premium structure for the Basic dental insurance plan?
The Basic dental insurance plan covers general dental treatments such as fillings and cleanings. The monthly premium for this plan remains at €12.50 starting from age 21. For customers aged 20 and younger, the premium is higher because this plan includes orthodontic coverage like braces and retainers until the age of 20.
How do premiums increase for the Advanced dental insurance plans?
For our Advanced plan, which also covers tooth replacement procedures, such as dental prostheses or bridges, the premium price increases every 10 years. For a detailed breakdown of how the price changes over time, please see the table below.

Why do premiums for tooth replacement coverage increase with age?
Tooth replacement treatments, such as dental prostheses and bridges, can become very costly. Premium increases every 10 years reflect the growing risk and expense associated with these procedures as people age.
*Why is the Basic plan more expensive for customers aged 20 and under?
Our dental plans include orthodontic coverage (like braces and retainers) for customers aged 20 and under. After that age, coverage is only available in special cases, such as after a serious accident involving dental damage.
Because this coverage is primarily used by younger customers, the price of the Basic plan is higher for those under 21. The difference is more noticeable in the Basic plan because its price is lower—so the added cost for orthodontic coverage stands out more compared to the Advanced plan.
