Under the Standard plan, preventive treatments are included without a waiting period. While preventive examinations, vaccinations, and various other treatments are not directly covered in the medical treatment costs, they are considered part of the fixed-rate health services. The annual limit for these treatments is capped at €70.

To provide clarity on what constitutes as a preventive treatment, the following are covered exclusively through the flat rate for health services:

  • Chemical castration (Suprelorin chip)

  • Surgical castration/sterilization without medical indication

  • Preventive examinations

  • Voluntary examinations

  • Health checks, including blood tests

  • Vaccinations

  • Preventive worm treatment

  • Flea and tick prevention

  • Preparation of health certificates and reports

  • Carrying devices

  • Walking aids, dishes, and care products

  • Supplementary feed, including vitamin preparations and diet food

  • Implantation of a transponder or microchip in accordance with the ISO standard

  • Issuance of an EU pet passport

  • Tartar removal/teeth cleaning

  • Manual emptying of the anal sac

  • Shortening of claws
