Coverage for veneers (or other tooth replacement services) will depend on your individual circumstances and the supplemental dental insurance plan you've chosen.

First, and most importantly, only Feather's Advanced dental plan can support tooth replacement procedures. This includes treatment like implants, bridges, crowns, inlays, onlays, and dentures.

Second, support is only possible for treatment that is discovered or recommended after signing up for supplemental dental insurance. If you want veneers for purely cosmetic reasons or if a tooth replacement procedure was previously recommended, our dental plans cannot support the costs. Additionally, the treatment must be deemed medically necessary in order for coverage to be granted.

Feather's advanced dental plan can provide up to a 90% reimbursement for tooth replacement services not covered by public health insurance and up to 100% of the excess tooth replacement costs that are covered by your public health insurance!

There are some calendar year limits specific to tooth replacement procedures which will depend on how many missing teeth you have at the time of sign up. A missing tooth is referred to as "a permanent/adult tooth that is currently missing and has not been replaced in some way". Wisdom teeth are excluded from this definition and are not considered missing teeth!
