With private health insurance, you typically won't receive a physical health card. Instead, once your policy is active, you'll have access to a digital health card through your Feather account, available on both iOS and Android.
How to Add Your Insurance Card to Your Digital Wallet:
Follow these simple steps to add your digital insurance card:
Log in to your Feather account
Go to your private health policy
Once logged in, navigate to your private health insurance policy.
Add your insurance card
In your policy details, you’ll find an option to add your digital insurance card. Select it, and follow the instructions to add it to your digital wallet (available for both iOS and Android).
4. Chose if you want a card for iOS systems (Apple) or for Google (Android)
5. You are now ready to use this digital card
Now your card is ready to use at any doctor’s visit! If you do have a physical card, you're still free to use the digital version!
Please note that doctors will bill you directly. After paying the invoice, simply upload it to your Feather account for reimbursement. Hospital bills, however, are usually paid directly.
