Can students living in Germany get our liability insurance?

Students can apply for our liability insurance in Germany if they're at least 18 years old and registered — or planning to register — at a German address through the Anmeldung process. There's no requirement to be enrolled at a specific type of institution, as long as the residency registration condition is met. Students on short-term language courses who don't register a local address aren't eligible.

What happens if a previous liability policy was canceled?

If a previous liability insurance policy was canceled by an insurance provider, you're not eligible to apply for our liability insurance. This applies regardless of the reason for the cancellation.
